The series "Piazze Italiane" ( transl. Italian Squares ) depicts metaphysical squares inspired by some of the most influential personalities in the Italian arts scene. Everything is still and immutable, apart from a mouth-shaped monument representing humanity. Whether it is a trace of an extinct, dormant or locked-down humanity, we are never to know.
